In Ghana, the most commonly used public transportation are vans called Trotros.
Grace Academy has served those children who lived in communities isolated from schools and did not have easy access to school. Even so, the journey is still a long one for some families and teachers.
How could this problem be solved?
The goal was to get a van to make round trips to transport children to Grace Academy, facilitating access for families living in isolation.
During the day it functions as a "trotro", public transport in Ghana. Thus providing employment for the people of Aklobotonu.
But things don't always turn out the way you expect....
Unfortunately, this van has been stolen and, having filed a report, we are now waiting to see how it will turn out.
